Reality does not exist

Afisha (Russian: Афиша — "Poster") was a Russian entertainment and lifestyle magazine published from April 1999 to December 2015 in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and 12 other Russia's major cities. In its peak years, Afisha's readership reached approximately 1.5 million people

The Rambler Infographic studio (where I was working in 2014) as part of Rambler Media Group made a series of infographics for the main theme of this issue of the magazine dedicated to the digitalization of our lives. I was working on this project as an art director and designer as well.

The infographic explains how Tor (anonymity network) enables its users to surf the Internet, chat, and send instant messages anonymously.

BITcoin farm

The infographics show how works a bitcoin farm, its technical device, and how cryptocurrency work. It also shows 5 cryptocurrencies with the highest capitalization and the dynamics of the bitcoin rate at the time of publication of this issue (April 2014).

The Golden shield

The infographic explains how the traffic filtering system Golden Shield (so-called The Great Chinese Firewall) works. As well it interprets the principles of blocking the search for unwanted information and manual filtering of content on social networks and the blogosphere.
