infographics based on data EMOTIV Epoc — an EEG, designed for contextualized research and advanced brain-computer interface applications

Editorial office of afisha.ru invited three different people to test brain sensor. They were listening to the same music tracks. After that they had to describe what they had just listened to. We mixed infographics based on data gathered from sensor (via emotiv epoc api, python wrapper and as3) with their stories.

Based on what we've seen I'd say that this technology yet can not capture the "feel" of music, or our guests weren't "emotional" enough in terms of brain activity. Data gathered from track_1 had a lot of similarity with data from track_2 (and all other tracks) when listened to by the same person, and much less similarity than it had with data from the same track but when listened to by another person.

Anyway, it was great fun to work with that technology!
